Thieves threaten staff before stealing cash from Lincoln village shop

Cash was stolen from a shop in Sturton in Stow by three men who threatened staff. Police were called on Wednesday, November 16 at around 8.50pm to a robbery which happened at Sturton General Stores Ltd on Tillbridge Road. Cash was stolen from a shop in Sturton in Stow by three men who threatened staff.

Police were called on Wednesday, November 16 at around 8.50pm to a robbery which happened at Sturton General Stores Ltd on Tillbridge Road.

Three men entered the store and threatened two members of staff, demanding they hand over cash from the till.

The offenders then ran away from the shop with a quantity of cash.

No one was injured during the incident.

Police are seeking witnesses who may have seen anyone acting suspiciously in the area or any vehicles being parked or driven suspiciously in the area between 8.40pm and 9.15pm.
