With only one month to go until December, stallholders across the county are preparing for Christmas markets.
Check out just some of the Christmas markets happening around Lincolnshire this year:
Sleaford

When: November 27, 7pm – 10pm
Where: Sleaford Town Centre
The Market Place traditionally becomes part of the town’s Christmas celebrations, with a tree, lights and usually a Christmas market with the lights switch on on Advent Sunday.
Get a head start on your Christmas shopping at Waters’ Edge Visitor Centre’s popular Christmas Craft Fair.
You will be able to choose from a wide variety of items including jewellery, bags, scarves, paintings, candles, soaps, decorations, babywear, cakes and flowers – plus much more!

Scunthorpe

When: November 26, 9am-4.30pm
Where: Scunthorpe Town Centre
Activities will start at 9am in Scunthorpe town centre with a special Christmas market and traditional Victorian rides and games.
A varied programme of Victorian themed street entertainment and musical performances will take place throughout the day to entertain shoppers.
There will be a wide variety of stalls at the Christmas market including mulled wine, German sausage, bespoke wooden crafts, traditional sweets, candles, cakes, Christmas decorations and books – just to name a few.
Louth

Where: Market Place, Louth
Meet probably the world’s Biggest Santa, browse around over 70 stalls.
Listen to the choir and be there for the Christmas Tree light switch on.
Caistor

Where: Market Place, Caistor
The market will see local produce, hot food and refreshments, crafty gifts, festivities and Father Christmas himself.
Horncastle

Where:
The event will see stilt walkers, a special Santa’s Grotto and a wonderful variety of stalls in the town and in the community centre.
There will also be children’s rides, live entertainment all day, food and refreshment stalls.
Skegness

Where: Outside Hildreds Centre
The market wills see a host of stalls with various crafts and food and drink.
Thirsty? Make sure to treat yourself with some mulled wine, also on sale.
Alford

Where: Alford Corn Exchange
Alford’s Christmas Craft Market is where you will find a variety of handmade quality Lincolnshire crafts for sale.
Ideal for presents for someone special or for your own home.
The will be gentle acoustic guitar from Banjo Bob each day and homemade teas/coffee from the tea shop in the rear room at the Corn Exchange.
Lincoln’s Cathedral Quarter will be taken over by stalls, entertainers and seasonal themes for four days of festive entertainment and shopping at the famous Lincoln Christmas Market.
There is something for everyone, from unusual gifts to food and drink from near and far, not to mention a whole host of entertainment for all the family to enjoy.
Enjoy the scents of mulled wine and freshly cooked food, the sounds of entertainment, music and merriment and the sights of this market in this stunning, historic city.
Where: Stamford High Street, Ironmonger Street, Broad Street and Red Lion Square
This year’s Stamford Christmas Festival will see traditional craft stalls offering a wide range of popular and stylish gifts with treats.

Bourne

When: December 3, 10am-6pm
Where: Bourne Town Centre
This year’s magical Christmas market will see a host of events including a visit from Santa and his elves, live bands, craft stalls, food stalls and fairground rides.
Where: St Peter’s Hill, Guildhall Arts Centre and Westgate, Grantham
This year’s Christmas market will see a craft market, Petticoat Lane charity stalls, fun fair, Santa’s grotto, reindeer and a blessing of the Christmas tree.
There will be a community parade at 3.30pm, and the town’s lights will be switched on at 4.15pm.
Fireworks will follow.
