Man dies after A158 crash involving lorry near Lincoln

Police have confirmed a 23-year-old man has died after a collision involving a lorry on the A158 Wragby Road, Reepham.

Officers received a report of the crash around 3.15am on Friday, February 3.

A blue heavy goods vehicle and a pedestrian were involved.

A 23-year-old local man had been walking from the north of Lincoln when he was hit by the lorry which was also travelling on the east bound lane out of Lincoln.

His death was confirmed at the scene.

He is described as wearing blue jeans, a dark coloured top and brown shoes.

Police are appealing for anyone who was travelling in the area between Lincoln and Sudbrooke, on the A158, between 2.00 am and 3.30 to contact them on the non-emergency number 101 quoting incident number 24 of February 3.
