How do you prefer to eat your Easter chocolate? As a giant egg? A hopping ribboned bunny? How about filled with goo, battered and fried?

As a special seasonal treat this year, Lincolnshire business The Elite Fish and Chip Company are bringing back a cracking new treat to their menu – battered Cadbury Creme Egg.

Chocoholics will be able to head to the company’s restaurant spa takeaways in Lincoln, Ruskington and Sleaford from now until the end of Easter weekend.

Great or gross? Would you try a bettered Creme Egg?

Manager of the Sleaford Restaurant Rachel Tweedale is welcoming said: “The Creme Eggs and the battered mince pies at Christmas always go down incredibly well and we love responding to customers’ feedback.

“This year, we’ve decided to bring back the battered Creme Egg and we’re serving them right up until Easter. It’s a time when everyone looks forward to indulging in sweet treats so we are looking forward to dishing them out!

“We’re serving them up in the restaurant with vanilla ice cream or you can enjoy one with your takeaway!”
