Fire crews and other emergency services were called to the crash at around 11pm on Tuesday, April 11.

Firefighters used cutting gear to release five casualties who were then taken into the care of the East Midlands Ambulance Service.

A 17-year-old woman driving a Volkswagen Polo was taken to the Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham with serious injuries.

Her four passengers were teenagers from Nottinghamshire who were less seriously injured.
