The official map of the 2017 Lincoln Knights’ Trail has been released, stating where each statue will be based around the city.
Ahead of the launch on Saturday, May 20, which will also commemorate the 800th anniversary of the Battle of Lincoln and the sealing of the Charter of the Forest, the map shows each location where the 36 noble knights will guard the city.
A range of locations have been chosen for the trail, including the University of Lincoln, St Mark’s Shopping Centre, Steep Hill and the Brayford.
The trail will be in place until September 3.
On May 20, there will also me a number of re-enactments, shield and flag-making sessions, Medieval storytelling and a Medieval market to commemorate the 800th anniversary of the Battle of Lincoln and the Sealing of the Charter of the Forest.
