The Lincoln Walk-in-Centre on Monks Road has reopened after being temporarily closed this afternoon.

Lincolnshire Community Health Services said that the “acrid smell” within the building was due to an electrical fault which caused plastic to melt.

Following an investigation, the fault is now in the process of being fixed and the centre has reopened as normal.

LCHS, which previously apologised for the closure, have said the centre is safe and free for patients to use.
