Royce Carmichael, Office Manager at Handsome Cabs, took our reporter Guy Owen for a quick drive around Lincoln.
He discussed how the idea of the supercar came about, how the public have perceived the new vehicle and confirmed the understandable news that the car would be unavailable for intoxicated customers in the early hours of the morning in the city centre.
Carmichael, said:”We were brainstorming ideas with new things we could introduce to try and drum up new business and to develop the company and someone said ‘what about a supercar?'”
“We had a laugh at first but the more we looked into it the more we thought about it becomes more and more realistic so the owners of the company decided to go for it.
“The primary use of the car is prom nights, graduation balls or corporate events.”
