Roads policing officers in Lincoln were astonished to find a disqualified driver had not held a licence for the 30 years they had been driving.

The East Midlands Operational Support Service Roads and Armed Policing Team (EMOpSS RAPT) posted on social media that they had stopped a disqualifies driver on the A46 in Lincoln.

They posted: “The driver has never held a licence for 30 years they’ve been driving”, adding shortly after that people driving for years without a licence is not uncommon.

The vehicle was seized by officers who reminded people that they rely on intelligence from the public in order to catch offenders.
