Tributes to ‘kind-hearted’ man killed in A16 crash at East Keal

“Heaven’s got a top bloke up there now.”

A man tragically killed in a horror crash on the A16 at East Keal has been named locally as Nathan James Ardron.

As previously reported, a man died at the scene of the crash on the A16 on August 17, with four more people seriously injured.

The road near Spilsby was closed overnight after the crash between a silver Vauxhall Astra and white Kia Sportage reported to Lincolnshire Police at 10.07pm.

Nathan, who was a passenger in the Astra, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the Astra was taken to Hull Royal Infirmary with serious injuries.

Another man who was a passenger in the Astra was taken to Boston Pilgrim Hospital, also seriously injured.

The driver of a Kia, a woman in her 50s, was taken to Hull Royal Infirmary with serious injuries along with a male passenger who also sustained serious injuries.

A number of friends have left tributes to Nathan on social media.

Aaron Green said: “A kind-hearted, spirited and well-loved member of the Boston – Skegness community tragically lost his life in a car colision early hours this morning.

“Nathan didn’t deserve this, does anyone?

“Rest in peace and fly high Nathan, you will be greatly missed by all.”

Sam Cutts added: “I’d like to say R.I.P to a childhood friend Nathan Ardron. Practically a brother in the old days.

“I’m sorry mate and my condolences to the family.

“[I will] never forget those days and nights on the PlayStation or those one off life experiences I had with you pal. Heaven’s got a top bloke up there now.”
