Woman has handbag stolen after being knocked to ground outside Skegness Jobcentre

Police are searching for the offender.

Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward after a woman was knocked to the ground and had her handbag stolen in Skegness.

The incident happened at around 5.30pm on Sunday, August 20 outside the Jobcentre on Wainfleet Road.

A woman was knocked to the ground and her handbag was taken from her shoulder.

A member of the public gave chase and managed to retrieve the bag and gave it back to the woman.

The offender is described as a white male, with a scruffy appearance, missing front teeth and wearing a dark baseball cap and a dark Adidas hooded top.
