Woman in her 20s dies after crash in Lincolnshire village

A woman has died following a crash near Gainsborough on Saturday, August 19.

Police were called to the collision on the B1398 at Willoughton at around 1.45pm.

The driver of a black Corsa, a woman in her 20s from the Scunthorpe area, sadly died as a result. Officers have informed her family.

Police have not specified if any other vehicles were involved in the crash.

Lincolnshire Police are appealing to hear from anyone in the area at the time who witnessed the collision and has not already come forward.

They also want to speak with anyone who may have seen the Corsa before the collision, or anyone who thinks they may have any information that could be relevant to the enquiry.
