Do not approach: Man wanted in connection with sexual assault could be in Lincolnshire

A Lincolnshire Police spokesperson said: “This morning we appealed for help in finding a 35 year old wanted man. Hertfordshire Police report that he was arrested over the weekend.

“Thank you to anyone who helped support this campaign and our apologies for having published the appeal in error after he had already been arrested.”


Police are appealing for information regarding a man wanted in connection with aggravated burglary and a sexual assault.

David Murray, 35, and of Leicester, is wanted for offences which occurred in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire, on Sunday, September 17.

He has links to the Leicestershire and Lincolnshire areas and is believed to currently be in the Leicester area.

Anyone who sees him, or knows of his whereabouts, is asked not to approach him and to contact Hertfordshire Police straightaway on the non-emergency number 101, quoting crime reference J1/17/3964.
