Plans for luxury student flats on former Stokes warehouse and school site approved by council

Plans have been approved.

Plans to build 138 luxury student flats on the site of a former school building, a town hall and Stokes warehouses in the centre of Lincoln have been approved.

At a planning meeting at the City of Lincoln Council on Wednesday, September 13, 10 members voted for and one against plans.

Propopals to demolish the former St Martins Parish Hall building on the site off Mint Lane, adjacent to Beaumont Fee have now been approved.

The site is also home to a former school building and warehouses previously used by RW Stokes before the company moved to its new HQ at The Lawn.

Successful applicants Thomas Samuel Ltd will now redesign and renovate most of the original buildings and construct two new buildings.
