Plans revealed for refurb and extension to Market Rasen Land Rover dealership

Plans have been submitted.

Plans have been submitted for an extensive refurbishment and extension to the current Land Rover dealership in Market Rasen.

The proposed refurbishment by Duckworth Motor Group on Willingham Road will enable the dealership to fall into line with the new look Jaguar Land Rover Corporate Identity.

If plans are approved, the extension is expected to be completed towards the end of March 2018.

Managing Director Ben Duckworth said: “As a local family owned and run business, Duckworth’s are constantly striving to improve, strengthen and update our business.

Artists’ impression of the new extension plans

“With our experience of building the brand new and newly opened state of the art showroom to house both Jaguar and Land Rover brands in Boston, the new challenge is to transform our existing and much loved showroom in Market Rasen to conform with Land Rover’s current Corporate Identity.

“The site has been steadily growing over the years, although we have updated the corporate identity twice since we opened, this will be the first full facelift since we moved into the premises.

“Our plan is to invite customers and local business owners to ‘Hard Hat’ tours throughout the refurbishments, we really want the local community to understand our exciting plans and will ultimately be rewarded with enhanced customer areas which include a new vehicle builder system, a barista bar, modern lounge area and free Wi-Fi to name just a few, once the refit is complete.”

Once completed, the revamped retailer facility will provide a fitting stage on which to showcase a range of Land Rover models.
