After three years without Bomber County having its own airshow, thousands of you braved the rain for day one of the eagerly anticipated Scampton Airshow 2017.
Taking place at RAF Scampton over the weekend of September 9 and 10, day one saw a host of aircraft take to the sky for incredible flying displays.

Lincolnshire’s very own Red Arrows also attended the show, which of course, was taking place at their home.
The show saw a number of exhibitions from aircraft around the world, with a number of teams travelling from Canada, Belgium, France and Sweden.
Scampton Airshow 2017 also featured a mix of modern military jets, historic warbirds, civilian display acts and the RAF Falcons.
For those wanting to attend the show on Sunday, September 10, tickets are still available online.
