Lincoln city centre is the most crime-ridden neighbourhood in Greater Lincolnshire, according to latest police figures.

The area covering the historic Steep Hill, cathedral, castle and university saw 385 crimes reported in July 2017, the most recent data published by police.

Many of the crimes reported were in and around the High Street area, especially close to the Waterside Shopping Centre, Guildhall Street, St Peter’s Passage and Clasketgate.

Two town centres came in sixth and seven in the list.
