‘Someone’s idea of fun’: Police search for trespassers who set fire to Mablethorpe primary school bin

Firefighters were also called to the scene.

Police are searching for trespassers who jumped the fence of Mablethorpe Primary Academy and set a bin on fire.

Firefighters were called to Mablethorpe High Street along with police at 8.22pm on Tuesday, October 17.

A hose reel was used to extinguish the fire.

Lincolnshire Police have said that they are making every effort to identify who is responsible.

Angry residents also spoke of their frustration at the incident.

Kayleigh Winn said: “Some people have no morals. Hope you catch them.”

Matthew Parnell added: “Why do such a stupid thing like this? I’m glad nothing and no one was in any severe danger.”
