A spooky outdoor cinema is coming to Lincolnshire this Halloween featuring over 20,000 mannequins in a graveyard.
Sunset Cinema Club has teamed up with Fulbeck-based Mannakin to turn its venue into an outdoor cinema for a weekend of Halloween movies.
The outdoor cinema will be showing Shaun of the Dead on Friday, October 27 followed by The Rocky Horror Show on Saturday, October 28, where up to 200 people can attend each event.
Believed to be the world’s only mannequin graveyard, the open air cinema will also allow moviegoers to take part in The Most Awful Halloween Walk, a tour around the graveyard.
Louise Darby, founder of Sunset Cinema Club said: “Mannakin is one of those places that you can’t quite believe exist.
“On our first visit we were offered ‘a hand’ at the finger buffet, and advised not to feed the mannequins.
“Following a tour of the space – which is surprisingly serene, creepy and fun in equal measure, our dream to establish a Halloween Screen here was born”.
Mannakin was set up by Roz Edwards and offers the repurposing, purchase and hire of mannequins, with The X Factor and Top Gear being some of the TV shows that have used the service.
