Stolen JCB digger used to steal cash machine in Co-op ram raid

This happened in the early hours of the morning.

A digger has been used to steal a cash machine at a Co-op supermarket in the early hours of this morning.

The ram raid happened at the Co-op supermarket on Broughton High Street near Brigg at around 3.15am on October 13.

Humberside Police have said that the JCB digger knocked down a large part of the store wall to steal the ATM.

The digger, which was stolen from North Lincolnshire, was found abandoned in a nearby car park.

A dark coloured car and a distinctive white van with the roof missing were seen driving away from the scene at speed.
