As Christmas is fast approaching, some fish and chip shops across Lincolnshire have released battered treats of some of your favourite festive foods.
Lincolnshire Reporter went out to give these items a taste test on whether or not you should be looking to try them out.
First up we visited Burton Road Chippy in Lincoln where they exclusively made battered sausage meat and stuffing balls for us, which go on general sale tonight (December 13).
Furthermore, all proceeds raised from the battered treat will go to the Nomad Trust.
Our next stop was Elite Fish and Chip Company in Sleaford, who have battered mince pies on their dessert board, served with vanilla ice cream.
I think it is fair to say that they all got a thumbs-up from our reporter!
