‘I miss you so much’: Tributes paid to Gareth Bailey after Ingoldmells murder

Family and friends have paid tribute to 29-year-old Gareth Bailey who died in hospital after being found seriously injured in Ingoldmells.

Gareth has been described as “such a nice lad” as many friends and family are shocked by his death.

Police charged a man with the murder of Gareth and a woman in her 20s was released from police custody but remains under investigation.

The incident happened just before 2.30am on Wednesday, December 6. More details here.

People have taken to social media to pay tributes to the Gareth.

Maz Locking said: “Goodbye my friend, still can’t believe this is real and that I will never see or hear your voice again. Go and have a cheeky pint or even just see that cheeky smile on your face. Sleep well my friend, I will never forget you. You were one of a kind.”

Perry Lee Bishop posted: “R.I.P. Gareth Bailey, such a nice lad will be missed by so many people. Why is it the good ones always get taken away from us? Fly high bro.”

Sleep tight Gareth Bailey, we got into a lot of trouble together when younger but every time we’ve bumped into each other since, or spoken out of the blue, you seemed to have grown into a lovely guy! All my best to family, thoughts are with you all.”
