Six people released after serious Christmas Day assault in Boston

Two men and four women have been released under investigation.

Two men and four women have been released under investigation following a serious assault in Boston on Christmas Day.

Police were called to an altercation in the Brothertoft Road and Sydney Street area of Boston at around 1.40am on December 25, where a 29-year-old local man suffered a head injury.

He was taken to Queen’s Medical Centre at Nottingham and treated for his injuries.

Six local people, two men and four women all in their twenties, were arrested and questioned about the incident.

The area was preserved for scenes of crime examination.

Anyone who was in the area of Brothertoft Road/Sidney Street between about 1am and 1.45am on December 25 and saw what happened is asked to call 101 and quote incident 33 of December 25.
