Boston man charged with stealing from employer and wasting police time after incident at amusements

He has been charged.

A 54-year-old Boston man has been charged with stealing from his employer and wasting police time after officers were called to an amusement arcade in the town centre.

Lincolnshire Police attended the Harris Amusement Arcade in Boston Market Place at around 8.35am on Wednesday, January 24.

Officers found a man covered in a non-corrosive household cleaning product.

He was taken to Boston Pilgrim Hospital with injuries not described as serious.

Police have now charged Steve Beeson, of Ingram Road, with theft by employee and wasting police time.

He will appear at Boston Magistrates’ Court on February 21.
