Mablethorpe man jailed for stealing meat from Louth Co-op

He was also fined.

A man has been jailed for four weeks after stealing meat from a Co-op in Louth.

Stephen Prescott, 35, and of Victoria Road, Mablethorpe, was charged by police with the theft from the store on Saturday, January 13.

Prescott pleaded guilty to the charges when he appeared at Lincoln Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, January 24.

He was jailed for four weeks and ordered to pay costs of £122, the price of the meat which was stolen.
