Models wanted for 2018 Lincoln Fashion Week

Here’s how to sign up to model bootcamp

With just over three months to go, organisers of the 2018 Lincoln Fashion Week are on the hunt for enthusiastic models of all ages.

The event will take place from May 4 to 11, this year showcasing clothes from High Street favourites such as Debenhams, M&S and outlets from Lincoln’s Waterside Shopping Centre.

Head of Lincoln Fashion Week Jess Wickham said: “No-one should be shy” when it comes to signing up, and she is keen to hear from more would- be models, male and female.

Bootcamps will be held before the big event, helping people to confidently strut their stuff on the catwalk at the finale show at Alive Church on May 11.

Jess added that 50% of all costs raised from ticket sales will go towards the Lincolnshire & Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance, which needs £2.5 million per year to keep running.

The show is sponsored by The Waterside Shopping Centre, St Marks Shopping Centre and the motor group Pentagon.

New features such as designer talks and workshops are coming to Lincoln Fashion Week this year, whilst also having a focus on accessories, hairstyling, beauty and wellbeing.

Anyone interested in signing up to take part can register their interest in model bootcamp via the online form here.
