Vandals leave trail of damage in Bracebridge

Senseless damages.

A trail of homes in Lincoln suffered a spate of criminal damage at the weekend, leading to a police witness appeal.

The neighbourhood policing team in Bracebridge warned that vandals had damaged a number of properties in the Brant Road area.

The crimes reported were all within a few streets of each other. They were as follows:

  • Incident 308 07/01/2018 – Criminal damage by unknown offender(s) to a living room window on Chiltern Road at approximately 5.30pm.
  • Incident 271 07/01/2018 – Criminal damage by unknown offender(s) to a rear window on Glenarm Crescent at approximately 5.10pm
  • Incident 270 07/01/2018 – refers to a criminal damage by unknown offender(s) to a living room window on Lannimore Close at approximately 5pm
  • Incident 90 07/01/2018 – Criminal damage by unknown offender(s) to a fence on Sidlaw Grove sometime between Monday 01/01/2018 and Sunday 07/01/2018
  • Incident 281 06/01/2018 – Criminal damage by unknown offender(s) to a fence on Lannimore Close at approximately 7.30pm
  • Incident 149 05/01/2018 – Criminal damage by unknown offender(s) to a front window on Lurgan Close at an unknown time on Thursday, January 4

PCSO Watts posted an alert to residents: “We would ask all local residents to be particularly vigilant in the area at the times of these offences.

“Lincolnshire Police are currently actively investigating these crimes. Please call if you have any information that may assist us in our enquiries, such as eyewitness sightings of the offender(s) or private cctv of the offences.

“Please contact our force control room by calling ‘101’ quoting the appropriate incident number above.”
