Vandals smash train windows at Cleethorpes railway station

Four trains were vandalised.

Four trains have been trashed overnight at Cleethorpes railway station.

Officers were called a 5.10am on Tuesday, January 9 to the station.

British Transport Police spokesperson said: “Officers from British Transport Police are currently investigating the vandalism of four trains at a depot near Cleethorpes this morning.

“Three TransPennine Express trains and one Northern train had windows smashed.

“The trains all needed urgent repairs before they could return to service.”
