BMW crashes nose-first into stream near Sleaford

The incident involves a red BMW

A BMW ended up wedged, nose-first, in a beck near Sleaford after it left the road.

The crash happened at around 12.30pm on Monday, February 5 on outside the Royal Oak Inn, on Brookside at the junction with Main Street, Scopwick.

A red BMW crashed into the stream.

An eyewitness reported that the driver remained in the car for some time and emergency services had been called to the scene while damages and recovery were being assessed.

They also said a black car may also have been involved in the incident, but no further details have been confirmed at the time of writing.

A spokesperson for Lincolnshire Police said: “We were called to an RTC outside the Royal Oak Inn, on Brookside, Scopwick, at just after 12:30pm.

“This looks to involve two vehicles, with one vehicle ending in a stream. Injuries are currently being assessed.”
