It’s going to feel cold! Icy weekend weather to continue across Lincolnshire next week

Prepare for a cold snap.

Temperatures across Lincolnshire are set to tumble over the weekend and into next week as a cold snap grips the county.

Saturday will largely be overcast and drizzly across Lincolnshire, with temperatures only reaching 4°C.

Overnight temperatures will barely hover above freezing, with Sunday set to be the better of the two days, but still with highs of just 5°C.

However, these temperatures could feel positively balmy if the forecasted Arctic blast hits the county early next week.

Temperatures are set to fall below freezing every night from Monday to Thursday, with temperatures reaching just 2°C on Tuesday.

There could also be the potential for snow flurries at points during next week.

Met Office forecaster Alex Deakin said: “Last weekend was really quite mild. This weekend, a very, very different feel.

“Throughout the weekend it’s going to feel cold.”
