Items stolen included personalised watches.
Dozens of items of jewellery, including personalised and sentimental items, have been stolen in a burglary near Grimsby.
The theft happened on Coniston Crescent in Humberston between January 24 and February 7, when the homeowners were away.
Stolen jewellery included some very distinctive pieces.
Two of them were gold gentleman’s watches, one an Omega which has inscription on the rear “presented to Andrew Bridge by F W Woolworth” and secondly an Everight with inscription on the rear “presented to S J Cupis by British Rail”.
Other items included gold necklaces, cufflinks and gold bracelets.
Humberside Police are appealing to the public to come forward if they have been offered any of the stolen items, or have any information related to the burglary.
In the appeal issued, Humberside Police have warned the public to not to participate in buying or selling of stolen jewellery. Anyone with any such information can anonymously call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
