Wanted: Spalding man skipped court in drug dealing trial

He was awaiting sentencing for a string of charges.

Lincolnshire Police are searching for Mitchell Ede (aka Jones) after he failed to appear in court charged with drug dealing offences.

Lincoln Crown Court issued a warrant for his arrest after the 24-year-old from the Spalding area failed to appear before Judge Pini on December 19, 2017.

He was awaiting a sentence for charges of assault and possession with intent to supply class B controlled drugs, police said.

Ede was also on trial in 2015 for assault by beating, assaulting a constable and possession with intent to supply class B controlled drugs.

He was then sentenced on March 7, 2016, but breached a court order and was brought back for re-sentencing in December 2017 — which is the court date he missed.
