Lincolnshire weekend weather forecast

What to expect this weekend.

Lincolnshire will slowly begin to recover from the grip of this week’s blast of winter weather.

Weather warning in place until 11am on March 3. Met Office

A yellow Met Office weather warning for snow and ice remains in place across the whole of the county until 11am on Saturday morning.

The remainder of Friday is expected to be largely dry but blustery with a maximum temperature of 0 °C.

Tonight will be dry and very cold. Winds are predicted to ease, but light snowfall is likely to spread northwards during the latter part of the night.

The Met Office is currently showing possible snow showers between 1am and 7am on Saturday, March 3. There will be a minimum temperature of -4 °C.

It will remain very cold throughout the weekend, but for the most part dry and bright in Lincolnshire.

Saturday will be cold with light snow showers across many areas, but it will likely turn drier later in the afternoon.

Temperatures are expected to slowly recover from Sunday into next week with bands of rain moving northwards.
