Texas Group PLC have submitted a planning application to Boston Borough Council for the residential and retail development on the site near the Centenary Methodist Church between Wide Bargate and Red Lion Street.

It could also create 100 new jobs in the town, with supporting documents with the application stating there would be 100 employees, of which 50 would actually be full-time.

The development will consist of two and three storey buildings, which will be in keeping with the rest of the area.
