Ex North Lincolnshire sports coach charged with sexually abusing young boys

Charges related to reported offences from the 70s to the 90s

Former sports coach Dylan Lamb, formerly known as Johnathan Hawthorne, has been charged with 13 counts of historic sexual offices against young boys.

Lamb, who was formerly known as Johnathan Haythorpe was employed as a football coach in South Yorkshire and a hockey coach in North Lincolnshire in the 70s, 80s and 90s.

He was charged on Wednesday, April 25, with five counts of indecent assault, four counts of gross indecency and four counts of additional, serious sexual offences during this period.

The charges relate to offences reportedly committed in Rotherham, Doncaster and Brigg.

Lamb, 70, of Queens Court in Scawby, Lincolnshire, was bailed to appear before magistrates in Doncaster on May 22.
