BGT’s Lost Voice Guy coming to Lincoln

The ‘Lost Voice Guy’ is heading for this Lincoln stage

The ‘Lost Voice Guy’, who has wowed audiences and judges on this year’s Britain Got Talent, will be headlining a comedy night in Lincoln this summer.

Comedian Lee Ridley, who lost his voice to cerebral palsy, was sent through to the Britain’s Got Talent final last night thanks to the viewers’ votes.

He has now been booked to appear at Lincoln’s Theatre Royal on July 26.

The 37-year-old performs his unique act using an text-to-speech program on his iPad and pokes fun at what it is like to live with his disability.

Theatre Royal artistic director, Natalie Hayes Cowley says: “We are delighted to have the Lost Voice Guy performing in July at our very own Comedy Night at the Royal.

“We have our fingers crossed for him to win the show, and can’t wait to see him perform here live in a few weeks’ time.”

Tickets for the event are now available from both the Theatre Royal website and their Box Office and are priced at £15 (£9.50 for students).
