Body of man found in marshland near Spalding

The body, believed to be of a man, has been found at Gedney Drove End near Spalding

A body, believed to be of a male, has been found on the edge of the tide area in the marsh at Gedney Drove End, near Spalding.

The incident was reported to police at 12.16pm on Monday, April 30.

Lincolnshire Police confirmed that the coroner’s office have been informed and a home office pathologist will carry out a post-mortem exam on the body.

Gedney Drove End lies at the end of five miles of lonely road and is located within Gedney, which is a village near Spalding in the South Holland district of Lincolnshire.
