Extra bank holiday coastal parking enforcement

Bylaws will be enforced to prohibit overnight parking

Extra parking enforcement will be in place across the Lincolnshire coast during the upcoming bank holiday weekend.

Lincolnshire County Council will prevent illegal parking obstructing the road to help ensure access for emergency vehicles, including the coast guard, over the bank holiday weekend of May 26 to 28.

Bylaws will be enforced to prohibit overnight parking at the coastal sites around Huttoft and Anderby.

Executive Member for Economy and Place Councillor Colin Davie said: “The Lincolnshire coast is a great attraction and will be enjoyed by thousands of people over the bank holiday.

“To help everybody have a good time and keep safe, we just ask that people are considerate and responsible when parking their vehicle.”
