Police, fire and ambulance crews rush to Lincoln incident

The man was seen stumbling into the road.

Emergency responders rushed to Broadgate in Lincoln where it’s believed a man fell ill.

Passers-by told The Lincolnite a man who looked to be in his 30s had been seen ‘stumbling and staggering’ in the Rosemary Lane area.

He then collapsed next to the A15 and an ambulance was called.

Paramedics, fire and police crews attended the incident outside the Broadgate Premier Inn and the road was partially blocked southbound.

Traffic is now moving again and the road is clear.

Lincolnshire Police received a report just after midday of a man in the road.

He has been taken to the Accident and Emergency department at Lincoln County Hospital.

East Midlands Ambulance Service have not responded to enquiries by the time of publishing.
