Coastal fog signals dreary weekend for Lincolnshire

Get your wet weather gear ready

Despite summer being officially underway, Lincolnshire is in for a dreary weekend.

UPDATE: A yellow rain warning has now been issued for Lincoln and parts of Lincolnshire. This means that between 6am and 8pm Saturday, heavy rain and thunderstorms may cause flooding across the region.

According to the Met Office, coastal fog is to persist across the weekend and heavy rain and thunderstorms mean that Saturday is likely to remain wet and grey throughout.

On Sunday, fog gives way to mist for what looks to be an overcast and uneventful day. Sunshine and showers may creep in towards the evening.
