Man seriously injured in Mablethorpe assault

The victim remains in hospital

A 40-year-old man remains in a serious condition in hospital after he was assaulted in Mablethorpe during the early hours of Tuesday morning.

The incident took place outside Jesters Bar on Victoria Road in the town at around 12.15am on Tuesday, June 19.

The victim sustained a head injury and was taken to hospital.

A 17-year old man has been arrested in connection with this incident.

Lincolnshire Police said: “Officers have cordoned off the scene and are making extensive inquires to identify the offender.”
