Boy slapped in alleged homophobic attack

Police are looking for this man

A 14-year-old boy was reportedly the victim of an unprovoked homophobic assault on Lincoln High Street at the weekend.

Police are investigating allegations that a man in his 50s made homophobic comments to the victim before slapping him once across the face.

The incident happened at around 9.30pm on Saturday, June 2 on High Street near to Foster Street. Police believe the attacker walked away in the direction of south Park.

Lincolnshire Police said the man in his 50s was described as white, around five foot ten, of medium build.

He was bald with a clean-shaven face and was wearing a black leather jacket, with a white top and blue jeans.

Police believe the man pictured on nearby CCTV cameras can may be able to assist with enquiries.
