Biker breaks leg in Grimsby hit and run

Police are searching for the car driver

A motorbike rider in Grimsby suffered a broken leg and was taken to hospital for surgery after a crash with a car that allegedly failed to stop.

Humberside Police is continuing its search for the driver of a grey Seat Ibiza car.

They said it left the scene after being involved in a collision with a red Honda CBF 125 motorbike at around 2pm on May 24 2018.

The car then reportedly drove off after the collision, which happened on Stanley Street in Grimsby near the junction with Oxford Street.

Anyone with information or who saw the incident or knows the driver should contact police on 101 quoting log number 309 of May 24.
