Residents in a number of villages north of Lincoln may have very low water pressure or no water at all for a few hours this morning.
Around 500 homes in Scampton are without water on Friday, July 13, due to a burst water main in Scothern, but Anglian Water anticipate it should be back on by 9.45am.
Some customers may be experiencing low water pressure in Scothern, Dunholme, Sudbrooke, Bullington, Wickenby and the surrounding areas and the problem is expected to be fixed by 11am.
After any interruption to the water supply it may look a little cloudy or discoloured when it’s back on, so just run the tap for a few minutes and it should be clear.

Anglian Water said in a statement: “This morning we’ve had a burst water pipe in Scothern which has caused low water pressure to some properties in that area.
“This burst in turn caused Scampton Water Booster to trip which took about 500 properties off-water this morning. We have technicians on site now to isolate the burst and properties in Scampton should be back on water within the hour.”
Please be aware that the length of Dunholme Road, Scothern is closed due to a burst water main and could be for some time. Highways and @AnglianWater on scene and dealing.
