A six-year-old boy seriously injured after a fall in Lincoln this week fell out of a window, police confirmed.
As previously reported, the young boy was taken to Queens Medical Centre with serious injuries after the accident, which happened at a property in Lindum Avenue at 9.40pm on Tuesday, July 17.
Lincolnshire Police previously said “officers are treating this as an accident and are continuing to support his family”.
Police released a further statement on Thursday (July 19) saying “Investigating officers can confirm that the boy had fallen from a window”.
The patient was unconscious and not breathing upon arrival, said East Midlands Ambulance Service (EMAS), who received a call at 9.28pm to the incident.
EMAS sent a LIVES doctor, a LIVES responder, two LIVES paramedics, three paramedics on fast response vehicle and a double crewed ambulance to the scene.
