BGT auditions coming to Lincoln next month

Do you have a hidden talent?

Budding musicians, comedians, magicians and other acts in Lincoln get ready as ITV’s Britain’s Got Talent is bringing auditions to the city next month.

The preliminary auditions will be held at The Rogue Saint on Mint Street on Thursday, September 6.

The Irish American bar previously hosted auditions for another popular TV talent show The Voice and now Yellowbellys can show off their weird and wonderful abilities again.

Lincoln singer/songwriter Ronnie Byrne said: “I had the honour of hosting auditions for The Voice early this year and I get to run the show for BGT this time around.

“It’s going to be a lot of fun and a great night all round, so make sure your schedule is clear and bring yourself along.”

More details on how to apply will be announced by The Rogue Saint in due course.

The 2018 BGT winner The Lost Voice Guy was due to come to Lincoln in July, but the gig at the New Theatre Royal was cancelled reportedly due to circumstances out of the venue’s control.

He is set to appear at the New Theatre Royal on March 20.

He also appeared in Lincoln’s Comedy Feast event in June.
