Here’s why Lincoln Nando’s has been closed and gutted

It’s been closed for a month-long refurbishment

The Nando’s restaurant on Brayford Waterfront in Lincoln has closed for a month-long refurbishment.

Metal fencing has been put up outside the popular chicken restaurant on the Brayford Waterfront while works are ongoing.

Currently, the Nando’s sign has been pulled down and the restaurant has been cleared.

The Lincoln restaurant closed for refurbishment on Tuesday, August 28 and is expected to reopen in early October.

Part of the plans will see the restaurant install original Southern African artwork and more unique design features.

A spokesperson for Nando’s said: “Our Lincoln restaurant is currently closed as we give it a bit of a refresh. The new restaurant will feature unique design features and original Southern African art.

“We cannot wait to open the doors and start serving local peri-peri fans in early October.”
