New bathroom showroom in latest Quadrant plans

Latest additional to the Quadrant

Plans for a new bathroom showroom have been revealed as part of the Boston Quadrant development, as new applications look to get the development moving along.

The new build listed for land south of Wallace Way, the main road running through the development, will be for the ‘display of bathroom equipment and associated merchandise’ and will include a new car park, according to documents submitted to Boston Borough Council.

Plans for a new bathroom showroom as part of the Quadrant development have been submitted to Boston Borough Council.

Applicants Parkland Developments said the building will employ four part-time employees and opening times would be 7.30am-5.30pm Monday-Saturday, and 11am-3pm Sunday and Bank Holidays.

Last week, a request was submitted to Boston Borough Council to approve reserved matters for Costa Coffee’s planned drive-thru – including a justification to change the opening hours.

Outline plans for the business, along with another for KFC, were originally approved in April.

The The Quadrant scheme will eventually comprise 500 homes, commercial premises, a food store and a new stadium for Boston United Football Club.

Government and council leaders have praised the scheme for starting the new Boston Distributor Road which will eventually link the A16 to the north, the A1121 Boardsides and A52 to the west as well as the A16 to the south.
