Three questioned over Boston McDonald’s assault

They have all been released under investigation

Three men voluntarily attended the police station for questioning in relation to the attack of an employee at a Boston branch of McDonald’s.

As previously reported, customers and staff watched on as McDonald’s employee Nathan Whittemore was assaulted by a group of men at the Queen’s Street branch in Boston on August 7.

A video posted on Facebook showed the men grabbing and hitting the worker as others watched on.

Lincolnshire Police released a statement confirming three males, aged 17, 20 and 43, voluntarily attended a police station for questioning over a number of offences in connection with the incident.

The men have all been released under investigation, pending a charging decision by the Crown Prosecution Service.

No other suspects are sought in connection with this incident, police said.

The mother of two teenagers filmed in the video viciously assaulting the McDonald’s employee reportedly apologised for the incident.
