Witness appeal after village sexual assault

A man was arrested

A teenager was allegedly sexually assaulted in a Lincolnshire village and police are appealing for witnesses who may have seen the incident.

The incident happened in the Curzon Estate in Tattershall on July 19 between 1.30pm and 2pm and the victim was a 17-year-old girl.

A man in his 40s has been arrested in connection with this incident and is currently on police bail.

Police are appealing for witnesses and would specifically like to hear from anyone who saw a man described as being white, having brown scruffy hair with a beard.

He was also in possession of a bike with a trailer, which had a Jack Russell dog inside.
